Strict lockdown in Bengal! Shunshan road, arrests are going on


After 52 days of corona coping, the overall lockdown is going on across the state again on Saturday. From Kolkata to the district - police patrols are going on in the streets everywhere. Police are arresting anyone who leaves the house without any need.

An overall lockdown across the state took place on Saturday after 52 days of dealing with the coronavirus. Police patrols are going on in all parts of the state from Kolkata to the districts. Police are making arrests whenever anyone leaves the house without any need. Naka checking is going on in the streets. Pictures of the city's Shunshan road have been captured. From Rasbihari to Shyambazar, from Sealdah to Nagerbazar, the same picture has been captured everywhere. Markets and shops are also completely closed on this day. The public transport system is also closed. However, most of the people did not go out of the house on this day. Such a lockdown will be celebrated in the state again on Saturday. The same will happen on Wednesday next week. The next meeting will decide when.


All government and non-government organizations except emergency services are closed on this day. Public transport is also not running. Special surveillance of the police is going on. Kolkata and district police have blocked the roads. Policemen are patrolling in different areas. Police are interrogating people whenever they see them on the streets. If not, you are asked to leave first. If not heard, legal action is being taken for breaking the lockdown as per Nabanna's instructions.


The exemption has been given for driving in case of medical and emergency needs. Private cars can also be used. However, if caught by the police, the appropriate proof has to be submitted. According to police sources, the lockdown will be carried out two days a week in the same manner as it was in the early days of the Corona episode.


There is special nook checking arrangements at 30 points to ensure lockdown in Kolkata. Naka checking is going on at every point of entry into Kolkata from South and North 24 Parganas and Howrah. City markets are also closed. Troops have been deployed from the local police station as well as Lalbazar. Three additional control rooms have been opened. There are also additional forces.


From Rasbihari, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Central Avenue, Taliganj to Behala, Jadavpur: Police pickets have been set up on various important roads in Kolkata. Due to the high level of infection in Kashipur and Belgachhia areas, the police have deployed a large force there as well. Police patrols are also going on in various alleys of Paikpara and East Sindhi.


In the last 24 hours, police have taken action against 361 people for roaming around the city without masks. In addition, 254 people have been arrested for violating the rules, while action has been taken against 20 people for spitting. Police have registered 52 FIRs.


This week is going to be the lockdown again next day i.e. Saturday. There will be a full lockdown again on Wednesday next week. The day of the lockdown next week, except Wednesday, will be decided after Monday's meeting.


Meanwhile, there will be a complete lockdown in Barasat from July 25 to 31. There will be a complete lockdown in Bangaon from next Sunday to next Sunday.
