IRCTC has taken several new steps to make train travel safer in Corona


Employees have been trained to check temperature and maintain social distance from regular sanitation.


The experience of traveling by train due to the Corona epidemic is now going to be completely different from before IRCTC is ready for the new normal.


After the lockdown, IRCTC is assisting Indian Railways to survey food on special labor trains. The company recently brought ready-to-eat-meals for 200 special passenger trains. In addition, IRCTC has trained 1,500 employees to comply with the COVID-19 guidelines.


Employees have been trained to check temperature and maintain social distance from regular sanitation. Multiple steps are being taken to make the train journey more secure.


Indian Railway Post has created Kovid Koch Plasma Air Purification System is being installed in this compartment of the train along with multiple facilities. This coach has been made by the railways to prevent corona virus infection. These cars are being manufactured at Kapurthala Rail Coach Factory. Post Covid Coach Multiple new features are being added.


This coach has multiple advantages that can be obtained without using hands. Water tap or soap dispenser can be operated with feet instead of hands. Bulbs or toilet doors can be operated with feet.  Wash basin will also have such benefits.


Copper has anti-bacterial properties. For this, all the handles and latches on the side of the rail will be coated with copper. The new coach will have plasma air equipment in AC duct.
